A Life in Creation — Mr Nicholas Bredimus
A major adjustment in air travel and hospitality was touched off by Mr Nicholas Bredimus, who linked them to the computer industry to produce something new. This creative man has become a standout in many fields, from the high value home design sector through a study of air safety and software to save time. And what’s more, in all cases, his passion shines through. Examining Nicholas Bredimus’ family history anyone could discern he was sure to rise to greatness. With roots as far back as the days of Rome and Bredimus’ provenience can be linked to several countries within Europe. On his mother’s side he hails from German and Scottish ancestry. The paternal line, by contrast, originates in Luxembourg and England, which is where they eventually migrated from in the late nineteenth century.
Even following their arrival in the U.S.A, they upheld their uncompromising work ethic and zeal to survive and thrive. Born one of seven siblings — four girls and three boys — Nicholas would be born to a father employed as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who worked as a nurse. He would come to live in Kansas City, Arizona, Texas and a city named Reston in Virginia.
He’s taken on high-powered jobs for companies throughout the air travel sector — the bulk of them huge names. Trans World Airlines (TWA), Republic Airlines, Hughes Airwest — these businesses would all at various times appoint him as a vice president. But the airlines have felt the need to be grateful all the more for his pioneering work in software architecture. He is famed for a project for US Airways, namely his aircraft maintenance management applications which come into use by almost all airlines. Of course, this was only one of his significant developments for airlines. The reservation programs he designed are on their way to becoming as commonly used as the airplane maintenance software, while his hotel booking system enabled hotels to leverage a pc based infrastructure. He also designed a program by the name of QuikTix, the world’s first electronic ticket ordering network.
Mr Bredimus has also served in several capacities outside of software development, let’s not forget. Responsible roles with American Express and American Airlines followed, and of course he started up his own firm in the early 1990s. Though he has stepped back from the roles in which he first knew success, his skills are nonetheless still in demand. His focus has shifted to the architectural problems bound up in the evolution of hi tech superior homes.
